Privacy Policy

1. The Short Version

PocketWiz is built to be private by design. Everything you save — links, screenshots, images, notes, tags, and collections — is stored only on your device. Nothing you save is uploaded to my servers or any cloud service.

The only data that leaves your device is what is strictly necessary to process an in-app purchase.

2. Information Stored on Your Device

PocketWiz stores the following data locally on your iPhone:

• URLs, page titles, and metadata of links you save
• Screenshots and images you save
• Text extracted from your screenshots (via on-device OCR)
• Notes, tags, and collections you create
• Your app settings and preferences
• Your subscription status (cached locally by RevenueCat)

This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to me or any third party, except as described in Section 3.

3. Information Shared with Third Parties

3.1 RevenueCat (Payments & Subscriptions)

If you purchase PocketWiz Pro, your purchase is handled via RevenueCat. RevenueCat receives:

• An anonymous App User ID (randomly generated — not linked to your name or email)
• Your App Store receipt and purchase details
• Device type and operating system version

RevenueCat uses this to verify and manage your subscription. I do not receive or store your payment card information — that is handled entirely by Apple. See RevenueCat’s Privacy Policy for details.

3.2 Apple (App Store)

Your purchase of PocketWiz Pro is processed by Apple. Apple may collect transactional and diagnostic data in accordance with Apple’s Privacy Policy.

3.3 Expo / EAS (App Distribution)

PocketWiz is built using Expo. Expo may collect anonymous telemetry related to app launches or update delivery. This data, if any, is non-identifiable. See Expo’s Privacy Policy for details.

4. No Accounts Required

PocketWiz does not require you to create an account. I do not collect your name, email address, or any other personal information as part of using the app.

5. No Advertising

I do not serve ads and do not sell, rent, or share your data with any advertising network or data broker.

6. Data Retention

All your data lives on your device and is under your control. You can delete your data at any time by deleting items within the app or by uninstalling PocketWiz.

Any anonymous IDs held by RevenueCat can be deleted on request (see Section 7).

7. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete data held about you. Because PocketWiz does not store personal data on its own servers, the main data held about you is:

• An anonymous App User ID held by RevenueCat (linked only to your purchase)

To request deletion of this data, email me at dodonkormichael2001@gmail.com with the subject “Data Deletion Request”. I will process requests within 30 days.

8. Children's Privacy

PocketWiz is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the EU). I do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, contact me and I will delete it.

9. Security

Because your saves are stored on-device, the security of your library depends on your device’s security (passcode, Face ID, etc.). I do not have access to your saves and cannot recover them if your device is lost.

10. Changes to This Policy

I may update this policy from time to time. When I do, I will update the “Last updated” date at the top. For significant changes, I will provide notice within the app where reasonably possible.
